Performed in our cozy Black Box Studio Theatre, “Midsummer” takes on a wonderful, intimate feeling. The director was inspired by the Steampunk styling, and so we went with it. Seen only in one picture, the overhead house lighting was created by dozens (hundreds?) of small light bulbs (different sized/styled bulbs) hanging at random heights, over the heads of the audience. These were also used as “stars,” while the lovers slept in the woods. It was a beautiful environment.
