A colorful group of performers, here to tell the tale of young Pippin, son of Charlemagne. If only he’d stick to the version of the story as laid out by the Leading Player.

The Leading Player uses all sorts of methods and tools to tell this story, and we felt using giant puppets (even as a main character) was so very up LP’s alley, as she tries to keep Pippin on-task. Gracie Faust’s shadow puppets, used in “War Is a Science” was a great way to bring the battle map to life.
