I referred to my personal collection of 1960s and ’70s super hero/villian comic books to create the art style. The drawing style of those early DC and Marvel comics is different than today’s Marvels, and graphic novels, and I wanted to emphasize the difference. Even the poster was to look like a scuffed-up comic book.
