The Crucible

The set was a look of Puritan simplicity — wood planking and square edges. The planking was actually 1/8″ lauan for the walls, and 1/4″ lauan for the flooring. Both were patina’d with a light wash to darken it slightly, but still maintaining the bright, raw wood look. It was also sealed with Rosco Clear Acrylic.
